REC Limited disburses Rs 90,955 crore loan in H1 FY25; Green loans surge by 92.68%

REC Limited, under the Ministry of Power, disbursed Rs90,955 crores in loans in the first half of FY25, marking a 20.10% YoY increase. Renewable energy loans surged by 92.68% to Rs11,297 crore. REC focuses on green energy and supports India’s power sector through schemes like SAUBHAGYA and RDSS, reinforcing infrastructure growth and energy transition.
