Real Madrid won 2-0 against Villarreal in La Liga, thanks to goals from Fede Valverde and Vinicius Junior. This victory helped them recover from a recent Champions League loss. However, the victory was overshadowed by a serious knee injury to defender Dani Carvajal and discomfort for Vinicius Junior. Madrid have now moved level with Barcelona.
