Tried as adult, juvenile gets life for gangrape in Uttar Pradesh

A 20-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a special Pocso court in Firozabad for gang raping a 10-year-old girl in 2021. The case was transferred to the special court as the convict, 17 at the time, was deemed capable of understanding the crime’s consequences. Another accused is still being tried.
