Old Parliament building is now Samvidhan Sadan; New building becomes “Parliament House of India”

The old Parliament building in New Delhi will now be called “Samvidhan Sadan” as per the proposal made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The decision was accepted by both the Lok Sabha Speaker and the Rajya Sabha chairman. The new Parliament building, on the other hand, has been named “Parliament House of India”.
