‘I cannot see but my hands can detect breast cancer’: Blind woman saves lives

Meenakshi Gupta, a visually impaired Medical Tactile Examiner in Gurugram, excels in detecting tiny breast lumps using her heightened sense of touch, improving early breast cancer detection. Working with Medanta Hospital, she has examined over 1,100 patients, identifying hundreds of cases needing further attention, aiding significantly in breast cancer awareness and early diagnosis.
