Varun Tej’s ‘Matka’ makers recreate iconic Poorna market at Ramoji Film City

Varun Tej’s upcoming pan-India film ‘Matka’, directed by Karuna Kumar, is nearing the final stages of production. The movie, set between the 1950s and 1980s, focuses on the Matka gambling scams that shook India during that era. A key highlight is the recreation of Visakhapatnam’s iconic Poorna Market at Ramoji Film City. ‘Matka’ is set to release on November 14, 2024, in multiple languages.
