Canadian sleuths saw Khalistan angle in killing
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has accused the Indian government of being involved in the killing of Khalistan Tiger Force chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar. However, Canadian investigators initially suspected that Nijjar’s murder was the result of a feud between rival Khalistan groups. They were looking into a battle over Sikh religious institutions in Canada, with a focus on the faction led by Ripudaman Singh Malik, a member of the terror group Babbar Khalsa. The Canadian media reported that Nijjar may have been killed because of his “Khalistan activism.
