Mumbai: Khar ITI named after freedom fighter Joseph ‘Kaka’ Baptista

The government has decided to rename the Khar Industrial Training Institute after the freedom fighter Joseph (Kaka) Baptista. The decision was taken during the Oct 4 cabinet meeting, which approved renaming 108 government ITIs to honor individuals who have significantly contributed to social reforms.
