Centre grants ‘Z’ category security cover to Karnataka governor Thawar Chand Gehlot

Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot is provided ‘Z’ category security by the CRPF following a security threat assessment by the Intelligence Bureau. The Central government authorized the enhanced security, which will be applicable within Karnataka. Gehlot has been Karnataka’s Governor since July 2021.
