Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has expressed concerns over the inclusion of Ravichandran Ashwin in the Indian ODI series against Australia ahead of the World Cup. Pathan believes that Ashwin should have been given more opportunities and game time in ODIs leading up to the tournament. He questions whether the series against Australia alone would be enough preparation for Ashwin to excel in the World Cup.
