Maharashtra: KDMC commissioner declares Kalyan-Dombivli as ‘City of Trees’

Dr Indurani Jakhar, the KDMC commissioner, announced that Kalyan-Dombivli will be known as the ‘City of Trees’ following a tree census report. The report identified 7,36,005 trees across KDMC limits with 206 species, including 2,014 heritage trees.
