Abir Chatterjee turns a cop with flair and fearlessness in ‘Raktabeej’

Director duo Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy are entering the thriller genre with ‘Raktabeej’, featuring Victor Banerjee’s return to Bengali cinema and Abir Chatterjee as a dynamic IPS officer. The film revisits the 2014 Khagragarh Blast in Burdwan, revealing a terrorist network linked to Bangladesh. The ensemble cast includes experienced actors like Mimi Chakraborty and Anashua Chakraborty. Manohar Verma, known for action sequences in films like ‘Madras Cafe’, choreographs the action. ‘Raktabeej’ will be released on October 19 in multiple languages.
