Special bench to hear PIL on J&K LG’s power to nominate 5 MLAs

The Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court will form a special bench to hear a PIL against the lieutenant governor’s power to nominate five assembly members. This move comes after the Supreme Court advised the petitioner to approach the high court first.
