Victim’s brother demands fresh probe into 2001 RG Kar death

Saumitra Biswas’s younger brother has called for a reinvestigation into the 2001 death of his brother, a fourth-year MBBS student at R G Kar Medical College in Kolkata. He claims that the case was mislabeled as a suicide to protect politically connected individuals and links it to a more recent tragedy at the same institution.
