Veteran director Deb Kumar Bose passes away at 91

Director Deb Kumar Bose, aged 91, passed away due to age-related ailments. Son of legendary filmmaker Debaki Kumar Bose, he made significant contributions to Bengali television with ‘Bibaho Obhijan’ and to Manipuri cinema, earning a National Film Award for ‘Matmagi Manipur’. He is survived by his son, Debashish Bose.
