A family from Chamba faced controversy last year for failing to follow Sikh customs while showering petals at the Golden Temple. This year, they adhered strictly to the Sikh code, ensuring heads were covered and no planes flew directly above the temple. The family used a helicopter from Dehradun, distributing one quintal of rose petals over the shrine.
