Facebook parent Meta releases AI model that can reason: “…as AI becomes more and more super-human…”

Meta unveils a new AI model, the Self-Taught Evaluator, which leverages AI to evaluate other AIs by breaking down complex tasks into smaller steps. This model, trained exclusively on AI-generated data, aims to enhance AI’s self-improvement and reduce human intervention in AI development. Meta also released other AI tools, including an update to its Segment Anything image identification model.
