Bank unions allege ‘unsafe’ work setting over Ladki Bahin

The United Forum of Bank Unions in Maharashtra has declared a strike on Nov 16 to protest the unsafe working conditions faced by bank employees during the implementation of the ‘Mukhyamantri Mazhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.’ The unions cited incidents of harassment and assaults by scheme beneficiaries and local politicians.
