Meta announces new WhatsApp features for WhatsApp Businesses

During its Conversations event in Mumbai, Meta announced new features for WhatsApp Business, revealing that it now has almost 200 million business users. The updates include WhatsApp Flows, which allows businesses to create customisable in-chat experiences, and WhatsApp Payment, which will be available to all businesses using the platform. Meta also announced the expansion of Meta Verified to businesses on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, offering a verified badge, account support, impersonation protection, and premium features. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg praised India for leading the world in embracing messaging for business purposes.
