Post office fined Rs 15,000 for not returning 50 paise to man

A consumer in Chennai received a 2999900% return after a post office was ordered to refund 50 paise with a Rs 15,000 fine due to rounding off transactions. The commission deemed this practice an unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
