India ready to back peace efforts, PM Modi tells Putin

PM Modi and President Putin emphasized peaceful resolution of the Russia-Ukraine conflict during their bilateral meeting. Modi highlighted India’s ongoing diplomatic efforts and the humanitarian priority while Putin acknowledged the strategic partnership. Modi last met Putin in Moscow in July when he visited Moscow for the annual India-Russia summit mechanism after a gap of two years.
