Ganesha idol, mantapa in B’luru get Rs 2.5cr currency decor

The Sri Sathya Ganapathy Temple in Bengaluru has decorated its Ganesha idol and mantapa with currency notes and coins worth over Rs 2.5 crore. This unique decoration display is open to the public and incorporates currency notes of various denominations as well as coins. The temple committee collected money from devotees to fund the decoration, and once it is removed, the money will be returned to the donors. The display includes artistic representations of various themes including Lord Ganesha, Chandrayaan, and Jai Jawaan Jai Kisan.
