TNSTC bus catches fire on Pollachi-Coimbatore Highway; 50 passengers escape unharmed

A TNSTC bus traveling from Pollachi to Coimbatore caught fire near Othakkalmandapam. The driver detected smoke and evacuated around 50 passengers safely. The bus was entirely gutted before firemen arrived and extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. No injuries were reported.
