Coastal Odisha receives heavy rain as severe cyclone ‘Dana’ approaches

Severe cyclonic storm ‘Dana’ approached Odisha’s coast with heavy rain and squally winds. Expected to make landfall between Bhitarkanika and Dhamra early Friday, the storm could bring winds up to 120 kmph. Coastal regions including Paradip and Kendrapara experienced significant rainfall with more intense weather predicted for Bhadrak, Balasore, and other districts.
