Detention of TN fishermen by Sri Lankan navy: Stalin seeks external affairs minister’s intervention

Chief minister M K Stalin has requested external affairs minister S Jaishankar to secure the release of 16 Tamil Nadu fishermen and their trawlers detained by Sri Lankan authorities. He stressed the increasing instances of such arrests and their negative impact on fishermen’s livelihoods.
