Omar Abdullah meets PM Modi in Delhi

Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to present a cabinet resolution urging the restoration of statehood for the region. This comes after Abdullah’s National Conference won 42 of the 90 assembly seats in the recent elections, the first in a decade.
