BP completes takeover of solar power JV Lightsource BP

BP, the British oil conglomerate, has completed the acquisition of the remaining 50.03% stake in solar developer Lightsource BP for 400 million pounds and an additional 2.1 billion pounds in debt. The deal supports BP’s energy transition strategy. Lightsource BP will maintain its independent brand and operational model.
