Fresh livestock census operation launched in India, data on domesticated animals and birds to be out in 2025

The Centre has launched the 21st Livestock Census across India, to be completed by February 2025, involving a comprehensive door-to-door survey and a $25 million Pandemic Fund Project. The initiatives aim to accurately capture livestock data and enhance animal health security, crucial for sustainable growth and disease management.
