Total to pump $300 million in green JV with Adani Green

TotalEnergies is investing $300 million in a new joint venture with Adani Green Energy. The joint venture will include solar and wind energy assets with a total capacity of 1,050 MW. TotalEnergies holds a 19.7% stake in Adani Green Energy and the investment reflects its confidence in the Adani group. The joint venture aims to support AGEL in becoming the leader of renewable energy in India, with a target of 45 GW of renewable power capacity by 2030. Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani expressed his excitement about the partnership.
