Rs 6 lakh unaccounted cash seized during election vigil at Palaspe checkpost in Navi Mumbai

During an election code of conduct enforcement, a surveillance team at Palaspe checkpost on the Goa highway intercepted a car carrying Rs 6 lakhs cash. The occupants of the vehicle provided evasive answers about the cash’s source. The cash was seized for further investigation, according to Panvel Sub-divisional officer Pawan Chandak.
