Women’s reservation bill the ‘biggest Jumla’ of NDA government: JD(U) chief Lalan Singh

The Janata Dal United (JD(U)) party in Bihar has expressed support for the women’s reservation bill in the Lok Sabha but doubts the government’s intention to implement it. The party’s national president, Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh, called the bill a “Jumla” ahead of the 2024 elections. He accused the government of deceiving women, as well as unemployed youths and the poor, with false promises.
