First dose vaccination in Puducherry tally nears 1 lakh

Close to 10 lakh people have taken at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine in the Union territory of Puducherry as of August 4. The territory reported 178 fresh Covid-19 cases even as 119 patients recovered, taking the total number of active cases to 831 on Thursday.
