Venom: The last dance’ hits $175 million worldwide despite slow U.S. opening

​In China, the film was bested at the box office by raking in $46 million over five days. It is the biggest superhero release in that country since 2019’s ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’. Other markets around the world also did well. Mexico earned $7.3 million, South Korea $5.8 million, the United Kingdom $5.7 million, and India $4.7 million. The first ‘Venom’ reached a worldwide total of $856 million, while its sequel, ‘Let There Be Carnage’, made more than $500 million worldwide.
