Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Exp from Sun

The Indian Railways is preparing for the commercial launch of the Vande Bharat Express after successful trials between Patna and Howrah. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the train’s first run through video conferencing. The train will cover a distance of 535 km in about 6 hours and 30 minutes, making it the fastest rail connection between Patna and Kolkata. The exact fare is yet to be determined but is expected to be around Rs 2,650 for the AC executive class and Rs 1,450 for the AC chair car. The PM will also inaugurate nine other Vande Bharat Express trains on different routes.
