ED to seek SC nod to resume probe against ‘lottery king’

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) plans to approach the Supreme Court to reopen a money laundering probe against Santiago Martin, a significant political contributor. This follows a Madras High Court ruling deeming the withdrawal of a corruption case against him illegal, potentially reinstating ED’s case under PMLA.
