Chennai-Bodinayakkanur Express train derails at Madurai Junction, no casualties

The Chennai Central – Bodinayakkanur Superfast Express faced a delay of one hour and 26 minutes after a wheel derailed at Madurai Junction. The train, arriving at 7.10am and scheduled to depart at 7.15am, was held up after the locomotive pilots noticed the derailment. Authorities re-railed the coach, allowing the train to continue its journey at 8.41am.
