Mumbai property regns rise 13% to 1.2 lakh this year, revenue up 8%

Mumbai reported 1,18,329 property registrations in the first 10 months of 2024, reflecting a 13% increase year-on-year. October alone saw 12,929 registrations in Greater Mumbai, generating over Rs 1,099 crore. High-valued properties priced over Rs 2 crore constituted 22% of October registrations, while demand for larger apartments also grew, indicating a preference for more spacious homes.
