Union minister Suresh Gopi booked in Kerala for ‘misusing’ ambulance

Police in Thrissur have filed a case against Union minister Suresh Gopi for traveling in an ambulance to the Thrissur Pooram venue, alleging disruption of the festival. The FIR includes charges under multiple IPC and MV Act sections. CPI functionary K B Sumesh lodged the complaint, while CPI’s V S Sunilkumar critiqued Gopi’s conflicting statements.
