Mortal remains of Sharda Sinha being taken to Patna; last rites to be held with state honours

The body of renowned folk singer Sharda Sinha arrived in Delhi. She will be taken to Patna for her last rites. Sinha, known as ‘Bihar Kokila,’ died from complications of blood cancer. Her son said the last rites will be held at the same place as her father’s. Political leaders offered condolences and praised her contribution to Indian music.
