Man charged with fraud over Manhattan hotel ownership scheme found unfit to stand trial

Mickey Barreto, accused of fraud for attempting to claim the New Yorker Hotel through forged documents, has been deemed unfit to stand trial. Doctors determined him mentally incompetent, leading the judge to order Barreto to secure inpatient psychiatric care by November 13th.
