Amazon plans to counter AI-generated work by limiting authors to self publish 3 books a day

Amazon has implemented a cap on the number of self-published books allowed on their platform in an effort to curb the rise of AI-generated titles. Kindle Direct Publishing has set the limit at three titles, with the possibility of adjustment. Authors are also now required to disclose if their content is AI-generated. The changes were made to address the impact of generative AI on the publishing industry and to maintain control over its influence.
