Girl hangs self in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhanpur over molestation; 2 cops suspended for ignoring report

A 16-year-old girl was found dead in her Lakhanpur village home. This occurred two days after her family filed a molestation complaint. The family stated a young man was harassing her. He threatened her over the phone. Two policemen were assigned to the case. They did not follow procedure and were suspended.
