UP man gets life term in jail for killing wife over dowry

Jitendra Chauhan has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife, Preeti Chauhan, in Uttar Pradesh. The court found Chauhan guilty of strangling his wife to death after she couldn’t meet his dowry demands of Rs 50,000.
