Karnataka HC stays proceedings in case over pro-Modi wedding invite

The Karnataka High Court has halted legal proceedings against two individuals accused of violating election law by urging guests on a wedding invitation to vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2024 elections. The accused argued that the invitations were printed in March, before the election schedule was announced.
