Cash-for-job: Mom, son held for taking Rs 6L to make man cop

Vasco police arrested a mother-son duo, Uma and Shivam Patil, for allegedly defrauding a woman of Rs 6 lakh by promising a police constable job for her son. Uma Patil was already facing charges in a separate cheating case. This incident marks the second “cash-for-job” scam reported in Vasco.
