Vigilance sleuths’ raids yield engr’s assets worth Rs 7 crore

A raid conducted by the Special Vigilance Unit (SVU) in Bihar uncovered disproportionate assets of approximately Rs 7 crore belonging to an executive engineer. The raids, carried out at multiple locations including the engineer’s office, residence, and properties in various cities, yielded cash, land plots, a flat, a house, a car, ornaments, documents, and bank accounts. The SVU had registered a case against the engineer earlier and discovered that his assets far exceeded his salary earnings.
