Ahead of ED questioning, CM flies to Delhi to meet ailing dad

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has flown to New Delhi to visit his ailing father, Shibu, amidst the ongoing land scam case and the ED’s fourth summons for questioning. The Supreme Court had previously rejected Soren’s plea to challenge the ED summons and directed him to approach the Jharkhand High Court. Soren’s next course of action regarding the summons is yet to be determined. The opposition parties have questioned his reluctance to join the probe, while the Congress party has shown support, calling the ED’s actions politically motivated.
