Bengaluru’s Spider-Man aims to make a mark

A 7-member Indian team is set to compete in the boulder + lead competition in sport climbing at the Hangzhou Asian Games. Bharath Pereira, who will lead the team, is hoping for a place in the final. The team faces tough competition from Japan, Korea, and Indonesia, but they see the Asian Games as good preparation for the Asian qualification event for the 2024 Olympics. The team includes four girls and has been training in Bengaluru before the Games.
