HC orders govt to finalise, publishscheme for HSRP implementation

The Karnataka high court has declined to stay the operation of the notification and circular issued by the transport department making High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) mandatory for all vehicles. It, however, has directed the government to finalise and publish the process to be followed by vehicle manufactures for enlisting licence plate manufacturers with Type Approval Certificate (TAC) to fix HSRP in old vehicles.
