Waterlogging, tree uprooting affect traffic

Heavy rainfall and gusty winds caused waterlogging and tree uprooting in parts of New Delhi, leading to traffic disruptions. The affected areas included Mathura Road, Outer Ring Road, Kalkaji, Janakpuri, Bawana, and Chhatarpur. The wall of Mukherjee School in Dilshad Garden collapsed, damaging 11 vehicles. However, the New Delhi Municipal Council and Municipal Corporation of Delhi reported minimal incidents of waterlogging and tree uprooting. They claimed to have promptly responded to the few complaints received and cleared the roads for smooth traffic movement.
